If you’re ever in England and you want to see an incredible example of Tudor architecture, go visit Lavenham, in Suffolk.
It’s a small town, almost entirely built in the 16th – 17th century. Though mostly private homes, some of the buildings you can go inside. It’s really magnificent.
You’re not kidding. We don’t put as much thought or care into our home these days. It’s amazing to see the details and symbolism they hid in their homes.
